GUWAHATI: The Agniveer recruitment rally for the four central districts of Assam is underway at Jaswant Stadium in Missamari Military Station in Sonitpur district.
The Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Shillong has been conducting the rally for the central districts of Assam namely Sonitpur, Bishwanath, Nagaon, and Morigaon.
The rally, which kicked off on July 23, will continue till July 27. The Agniveer recruitment rally has been divided into five phases.
In the first phase, the army recruitment rally for Agniveer (general duty) for Sonitpur district was held on July 23. The rally for Bishwanath District is being held on July 24 in the second phase.
In the third phase, the rally for Agniveer (general duty) for Nagaon District will be held on July 25. The army recruitment rally for Agniveer (general duty) for Morigaon district and Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass) for Sonitpur, Bishwanath, Nagaon, and Morigaon will be held on July 26 in the fourth phase.
In the fifth phase, the army recruitment rally for Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass), Agniveer technical, and Agniveer (office assistant) for Sonitpur, Bishwanath, Nagaon, and Morigaon will be held on July 27.
The Army has made comprehensive preparations for the recruitment rally, with significant support from the District Administration and Police Department.
This rally is being organized exclusively for the shortlisted candidates of the online common entrance exam conducted nationwide in April-May 2024.
