The prestigious award was conferred on Friday by President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

This year, 15 nurses from various regions and healthcare institutions were honoured for their exemplary service in strengthening public health delivery and their unwavering commitment to promoting the welfare of the community.
