GUWAHATI: The stage is set for the grand finale of the 20th edition of Mega Miss North East, scheduled to take place at the prestigious ITA Cultural Complex in Guwahati on March 2.
The pageant, conceptualised by fashionpreneur Abhijeet Singha, has been produced by Mega Entertainment and promises to be a celebration of beauty, talent, and empowerment.
Each of the three winners will receive a prize package of Rs. 1,00,000 along with travel opportunities, professional representation from Mega Entertainment, brand engagements, shoots, appearances at youth and fashion events, and public relations and reputation management services from Life’s Purple.
Singha, the founder of Mega Entertainment, expressed his excitement for the milestone edition, stating, “The 20th edition of Sunsilk Serum Mega Miss North East is a testament to two decades of empowering beauty and talent in the region. It has provided hope and opportunity for countless young women across the Northeast.”
Singha also announced a significant change in the pageant format, highlighting the elimination of the concept of runners-up.
“Instead, all three winners will be crowned equally and receive equal rewards and opportunities,” he said.
Moreover, they will have the chance to represent India at prestigious international pageants such as Top Model of Universe in Turkey and Miss Continental World in Thailand.
In addition to the title winners, contestants will compete for various subtitles including Sunsilk Serum Miss Shine Queen, Hotel Daaysco Oley Allo Miss Congeniality, Dazller Eterna Miss Glamorous, and Butterfly Miss Fashion Icon.
The top five contestants will showcase apparels by Butterfly Clothing and Accessories, a prominent brand founded by Strenuousland Marwein and Rishan Pariat, known for its excellence and innovation in the fashion industry.
“As we celebrate this monumental occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering talent and providing unparalleled opportunities for the youth of the Northeast. Each crown bestowed is a symbol of not just beauty, but of resilience, determination, and the unwavering spirit of the Northeast,” said Singha.
