Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday invited citizens to take part in shaping the state’s Budget 2026–27, calling for public suggestions, ideas and feedback to make the process more inclusive and people-centric.
In a message shared on social media, Khandu said the government was committed to participatory governance and urged people from all sections of society to contribute to the state’s annual financial planning exercise.
He described citizen involvement as essential for building a stronger, more progressive and inclusive Arunachal Pradesh.

“As we prepare the Arunachal Budget 2026–27, the government invites valuable suggestions, ideas and feedback from all citizens,” the chief minister said in a post on X, encouraging people to become active partners in the development process.
Reiterating the importance of collective effort in governance, Khandu added that public engagement would help ensure policies and priorities reflect the real needs and aspirations of the people.
According to official information, suggestions can be submitted through a dedicated online portal, with February 20 set as the last date for entries.
To promote wider participation, the government has also announced cash awards of Rs. 50,000 each for the top five suggestions.
