Tourism officials said the festival will include traditional performances, outdoor adventure activities, and community-driven events to highlight Anjaw’s pristine environment and heritage.
Dong, located about 1,240 meters above sea level at the tri-junction of India, China, and Myanmar, has long drawn trekkers and researchers for its scenic and symbolic significance.
The state government has been improving access to this remote corner of Arunachal to boost tourism, and the festival is expected to put Dong firmly on the country’s travel map.
