Itanagar: The Indian Army will host a Grand Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally on June 14 at Tenga Valley Military Station in Arunachal Pradesh.
This event aims to honour the immense courage, unwavering dedication, and profound sacrifices of veterans and veer naris hailing from across Arunachal Pradesh, including the regions of Tawang, Kameng, and Itanagar.
The event will be graced by Arunachal Pradesh governor Lieutenant General KT Parnaik as the chief guest.
He will be joined by Lieutenant General Gambhir Singh, General Officer Commanding, Gajraj Corps; and Major General KS Grewal, General Officer Commanding, Ball of Fire Division.
Senior military officers, civil dignitaries, and representatives from the State Government, various welfare organizations, and resettlement agencies are also expected to attend the event.
The rally will offer practical support through dedicated help desks, where the Army and State Government will assist with pensions, healthcare, and resettlement queries.
A fully equipped medical camp will provide free health check-ups and consultations.
Veterans and their families will be able to explore opportunities at stalls hosted by organisations such as the Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV), Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), and the Arunachal Pradesh Resettlement Department.
Students will perform cultural programmes to express gratitude and honour the veterans.
