ITANAGAR: In a bid to overhaul the state’s skilling ecosystem, the Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dept of Arunachal Pradesh has initiated finishing courses for the passing out batches this year onwards.
The course has been designed after comprehensive research and feedback from employers.
Hailing the initiative of the Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dept, Chief Minister Pema Khandu said, “Happy to learn that the Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dept has started Finishing Course for the first-time job seekers, helping them in coping with initial hurdles they face.”
CM Khandu said the state government is working hard to transform the entire skilling ecosystem of Arunachal Pradesh.
Uniquely designed to cater to the needs of employers, the finishing course also reflects the essence of our National Education Policy 2020, the chief minister stated.
The course has covered topics relevant for first-time job entrants, including job interview preparation, resume writing, digital and financial literacy, computer knowledge, and employee rights to help trainees prepare for higher studies, gain employment, and become self-employed or entrepreneurs.

According to an official of the Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dept, the course is aimed at providing the youths of the state the required skills so that they can excel in their respective domain.
The youth of Arunachal Pradesh have immense potential and possess the talent to grow in their fields of interest, the official said.
