Itanagar: Two athletes from Arunachal Pradesh made their presence felt at the 36th East Zone Junior Athletics Championships, 2025, by winning medals in the ongoing event.
The championship, from September 22-24, is being held in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Sprinter Yanu Mane secured a bronze in the women’s U-20 1,500m race, while Rohan Tesia clinched a bronze in the boys’ U-14 Triathlon B event on Tuesday.
Taba Tedir, president of the Arunachal Olympic Association and ad hoc president of the Arunachal Athletics Association, congratulated both athletes for their impressive performances at the highly competitive championship.
