Itanagar: Chum Darang, a renowned actress and entrepreneur from Arunachal Pradesh, is set to join the 18th season of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ as a contestant.
Chum rose to fame through her impressive performances in “Badhaai Do,” a film co-starring Bhumi Pednekar, and the acclaimed series “Paatal Lok.
The announcement of Chum’s entry into the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, has created a lot of excitement among her fans.
She hails from Pasighat in East Siang district. Her achievements also include competing in several beauty pageants and winning titles such as Miss AAPSU 2010 and Miss Tiara India International 2017.
She is a social activist and runs a café, Café Chu, in Pasighat.
As one of the contestants, Darang will face the challenges of the Bigg Boss house, where she will compete with some of the biggest names in the television industry.
‘Bigg Boss’ Season 18, hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is set to premiere on JioCinema on October 6. This Hindi-language reality show will be live-streamed 24/7, promising a season packed with drama, entertainment, and surprises.
