The Mumbai Crime Branch has apprehended two suspects allegedly involved in the recent shooting incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence.
The captured individuals, identified as Vicky Sahab Gupta, 24, and Sagar Shrijogendra Pal, 21, were located in Masihi, West Champaran district, Bihar, and subsequently arrested in Bhuj, Gujarat.
The shooting incident, which occurred around 5 am on April 14, saw two assailants on motorcycles firing four rounds near Galaxy Apartments in Bandra.
Fortunately, despite Khan being present at home during the incident, no injuries were reported.
Following the shooting, the suspects abandoned their motorcycle near a church and utilised an autorickshaw to reach Bandra railway station.
Subsequently, they proceeded to Santacruz station, where they hired another autorickshaw to continue their journey.

The motive behind the attack is believed to be linked to Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who claimed responsibility for the assault on social media.
It is speculated that the animosity towards Khan stems from a 1998 incident involving the hunting of blackbucks, an animal revered by the Bishnoi community, in which Khan was implicated.
In response to the alarming event, Salman Khan’s brother, Arbaaz Khan, expressed shock and concern, stating, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and unnerving.”
Arbaaz further conveyed the family’s astonishment and reiterated the need for a thorough investigation into the matter.
Notably, Salman Khan was observed leaving Galaxy Apartments for the first time since the shooting incident on the afternoon of April 15.
His departure was accompanied by heightened security measures, with multiple police vans surrounding his white Nissan Patrol Bulletproof SUV.
