GUWAHATI: In a bid to enhance the state’s hospitality infrastructure, the Arunachal Pradesh government, has embarked on a spree of state guest house inaugurations.
Following the unveiling of two guest houses in quick succession on December 18 and 19 in Guwahati and Gaya, Bihar, the Pema Khandu government has now announced the development of another state guest house, this time in Assam’s Tinsukia.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, during a Tuesday announcement, disclosed that the upcoming state guest house in Tinsukia’s Bordoloi Nagar is expected to be operational by March.
Striving for a commitment to provide a comfortable experience for guests, the Deputy Chief Minister declared that this guest house would be open to the public.
Termed as one of “our biggest assets in Assam”, Deputy Chief Minister Mein conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing construction work at the state guest house.
The inspection encompassed a range of aspects, including general property maintenance, amenity standards, cleanliness, and overall construction progress.
“This facility, once completed, will not only serve as an accommodation hub but also as a centre for cultural and economic exchanges,” remarked Deputy Chief Minister Mein.
Highlighting the significance of attention to detail, he urged the developers to ensure that every aspect of the state guest house is meticulously taken care of, with a primary focus on guest comfort.
Deputy Chief Minister Mein specifically directed the developers to pay special attention to room conditions, high hygiene standards, and provide top-notch amenities.
The upcoming state guest house in Tinsukia is poised not just to be a place of accommodation but a dynamic space fostering cultural interactions and economic exchanges, further enhancing the region’s hospitality infrastructure, he added.
