GUWAHATI: In a celebration of love and cultural richness, Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram officially became husband and wife in a traditional Meitei ceremony held in Imphal on Wednesday.
The intimate ceremony took place in the presence of close family members and a select group of friends, witnessing the couple exchange vows in the sacred bond of marriage.
Prior to the wedding, Randeep expressed his anticipation for embracing Laishram’s Meitei traditions.
Randeep Hooda looked regal in a Pheijom and kurta, complemented by a turban (Kokyet). The bride, Lin Laishram, was a vision of grace in a traditional Potloi.
As the event was kept private, a few pre-wedding pictures surfaced on the internet, showcasing the couple participating in rituals adorned in their traditional attire.
The duo radiated joy and love, capturing the essence of their special day.
Heartfelt congratulations poured in from fans and industry colleagues.
Priyanka Chopra extended her wishes on Instagram, writing, “Congratulations and so much love.”
Vijay Varma, Neena Gupta, Sayani Gupta, and others joined in expressing their joy for the newlyweds.
Sayani, in awe of the bride, exclaimed, “Ufff! Absolutely breathtaking! Never seen a more stunning bride! Lin you magic! Stay blessed both of you! Love love love.”

Earlier on November 28, Hooda and Lin had sought divine intervention for peace in Manipur before tying the knot.
The actor, now fondly referred to as the would-be son-in-law of Manipur, graced two temples, Ipudhou Marjing Khubamlen and Shri Shri Govindajee, to offer prayers for tranquility in the region.
The Rang Rasiya actor expressed his heartfelt wish for the restoration of peace and normalcy in the “beautiful state of Manipur,” hoping that its residents could return to their lives as they were before.
“I was praying to the deities hoping that all the conflict in the state resolves, and people could go back to their beautiful lives,” Randeep had told the press.
