Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha flagged off 24 Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulances in Agartala on Sunday, in a bid to build a stronger, more accessible, and responsive healthcare system for the people of the state.

The ambulances are equipped with all essential life-saving equipment, designed to enhance the state’s response to road accidents and medical emergencies.

Speaking at the flagging-off ceremony, CM Saha said that the government does not want to compromise on any aspect of health facilities and that the initiative has been dedicated to the people of Tripura.

The initiative is aimed at improving state’s rapid response, timely trauma treatment and patient transport system in emergency situations.
