The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has officially cancelled the results of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024 released on Monday, just hours after declaring it.
The commission issued a cancellation notification stating an “inadvertent error” in the earlier notification.
The original result had been issued via letter No. 460PSC/CON/Exam-37/2024-2025 on February 16, 2026.
The Principal Controller of Examinations at APSC confirmed that the result has been withdrawn with immediate effect. A revised select list will be uploaded after a thorough review.
The commission stated that after careful examination, the uploaded result was found to contain errors, and hence it has been annulled with immediate effect. A fresh select list will be prepared and uploaded by the commission shortly.

“Due to some inadvertent error noticed in the result notified vide letter No. 460PSC/CON/Exam-37/2024-2025, dated Guwahati, the 16th February, 2026, the Result uploaded for Combined Competitive Examination-2024 is hereby cancelled with immediate effect. After careful examination, the Commission will upload the fresh Select list within a short time,” the APSC notification read.
This year’s CCE was conducted to fill a total of 288 positions of Assam Civil Service (ACS), Assam Police Service (APS) and various allied government services.
