National Startup Day, observed every year on January 16, aims to recognise and promote the contribution of startups in driving economic growth, employment generation, and technological advancement in the country. The day serves as a platform to highlight the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in building a self-reliant India.
Across the country, various events, workshops, and discussions are organised to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs and provide them with guidance, mentorship, and networking opportunities. In Assam too, the day is seen as an occasion to inspire the youth to explore new ideas and contribute to the state’s economic development through entrepreneurship.
