Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma reunite on the big screen as the popular Fukrey duo returns with their fifth film together, titled Rahu Ketu.

The makers of Rahu Ketu have unveiled the film’s trailer, offering a preview of a narrative where mythology blends with chaos and comedy, while hinting at a deeper cosmic theme. The trailer teases an unconventional journey that weaves ancient folklore into contemporary humour.

The film is set to release in theatres across India on January 16, 2026.

The trailer opens with a voiceover by veteran actor Piyush Mishra, who introduces the mythological roots of Rahu and Ketu. His narration sets the tone for a story rooted in old beliefs but placed in a modern setting.

Directed by Vipul Vig, Rahu Ketu follows two ordinary men whose lives take an unexpected turn when they get caught in a strange and cosmic situation.

The use of folklore as a starting point establishes a clear link to the film’s cosmic undertones. Leading the cast, Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma display notable comic timing and strong on-screen chemistry.

Pulkit said, “Fantasy worlds have always fascinated me, so what truly excited me about Rahu Ketu was stepping into this colourful, chaotic universe rooted in comedy. Watching mythological ideas come alive in a fun, accessible way, especially for kids and being part of that journey was an absolute joy.”

Varun added, “The humour in Rahu Ketu is deeply situational and rooted in human flaws. We’re not just making people laugh, we’re holding up a mirror, only with chaos, madness and a lot of fun.”

Actress Shalini Pandey plays an important role and appears as a strong presence in the trailer. The supporting cast includes Chunky Pandey, who brings his familiar comic timing, Amit Sial in a more serious role, and Manu Rishi Chadda, who adds depth to the quirky ensemble.

While Rahu Ketu is rooted in comedy, it also conveys a message about karma, with mythological figures nudging the characters to confront the consequences of their actions in humorous yet meaningful ways.
