Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh government has partnered with IIT Delhi to equip college students and recent graduates with industry-ready skills in artificial intelligence (AI), officials said on Thursday.
The programme, set to commence in the second week of January in Itanagar, will provide intensive offline training that blends classroom sessions with hands-on project work. The five- to six-week course will feature two-hour sessions each day.
According to officials, the curriculum will cover key areas such as AI and machine learning fundamentals, data analysis and visualisation, Python-based AI project development, along with modules on résumé building and career preparation.
Designed to help learners develop real-world projects and gain employable skills relevant to emerging tech-led industries, the course is fully sponsored by the state government and offered free of cost. Registrations are now open, and applicants must submit their forms by January 4.
The programme is being offered through a collaboration between the state’s Information Technology Department and IIT Delhi’s Technology Innovation Hub.
