At least 24 mobile phones and 12 gold chains were reported stolen during rapper Travis Scott’s concert in Mumbai on November 19, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse, where thousands had gathered to watch the American artist perform.
Police suspect a coordinated group may have infiltrated the venue and taken advantage of the tightly packed crowd to target attendees.

A case has been registered at the Tardeo police station against unidentified persons under sections 303(2) and 304 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Officers say specialised gangs are known to operate at large entertainment events and high-traffic gatherings.
So far, 24 concertgoers have lodged official complaints, but authorities expect the number to rise as more people realise their valuables are missing.
