Senior media executive Raktim Das is set to join Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL) as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Karan Abhishek Singh.
Das hails from Chandmari in Guwahati, Assam and a proud alumnus of Cotton University.
Das, who recently stepped down as Chief Growth Officer (Digital & Broadcasting) at TV9 Network, brings with him over two decades of experience across leading Indian media houses.
Before his stint at TV9, Das headed the Innovation Studio and Custom Content division at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), where he led several acclaimed brand partnerships and campaign initiatives.

Earlier, as COO of TV9 Studio, he focused on integrating content innovation with revenue generation.
Das’s career also spans leadership positions at Network18, NewsX, Zee News Limited, India Today Group, and The Times of India.
Das is known for blending editorial, business, and brand strategy to create new content-led monetisation models.
He is also the founder of SMEpost.com, India’s first digital platform dedicated to the small and medium enterprise sector.
