New Delhi: Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially announced his return to the much-awaited comedy sequel, Hera Pheri 3, reassuring fans that all prior issues have been resolved.
The confirmation comes months after Rawal had shocked fans by announcing his exit from the project in May, amidst reports of creative differences and legal disputes.
The third installment of the iconic franchise reunites Rawal with co-stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and filmmaker Priyadarshan.
During a recent appearance on Himanshu Mehta’s podcast, Rawal shed light on the decision to return.
“It was always going to happen; we just needed to fine-tune ourselves. Priyadarshan, Akshay, Suniel, and I have been friends for many years. There’s no controversy,” he clarified, addressing reports of a Rs 25-crore lawsuit filed by Akshay Kumar, who is also producing the film under his banner Cape of Good Films.
Rawal emphasized the importance of delivering quality content to meet fans’ expectations.
“When people have shown so much love for something, we owe it to them to work even harder. You can’t take their affection for granted. It’s our responsibility to come together, give our best effort, and create something truly memorable. Everything is now resolved,” he stated.
