Itanagar: In a major stride towards strengthening the educational infrastructure and governance in Arunachal Pradesh, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has partnered with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) for the establishment of a sub-regional office in Itanagar.
The CBSE office will be housed within the SCERT campus at Gohpur Tinali in Chimpu.
The Arunachal government has allotted a space of 1720 sq. ft. in the old SCERT building to facilitate the initiative, underscoring its commitment to improving service delivery to CBSE-affiliated schools in the state.
The office will serve as the hub for CBSE-related activities and matters concerning schools in Arunachal Pradesh and will be headed by CBSE sub-regional officer, Itanagar, J Pankaj Bage.
The establishment of the office in Itanagar marks a significant step towards more accessible, efficient and locally responsive CBSE services.
The initiative is expected to greatly benefit schools, educators and students by enabling quicker redressal of academic and administrative issues and strengthening coordination with CBSE authorities.
This development marks a positive change in the educational landscape of the state.
