Guwahati: In the wake of the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Assam government has announced a proactive measure to support students from the state who are currently pursuing their education in various parts of India.
In an official notice issued on May 10 (Saturday) from the Office of the Resident Commissioner at Assam Bhawan in New Delhi, a dedicated helpline and contact persons have been designated for students requiring any form of assistance.
Recognizing the challenges that students living away from home might face amidst rising concerns and uncertainties, the initiative is a move to provide a safety net for students who might feel vulnerable or require support during these sensitive times.
The Assam government, through its Resident Commissioner’s office in the national capital, has emphasized its commitment to the well-being of its student community studying outside the state.
The notice urges students from Assam facing any difficulties or requiring assistance to get in touch with Assam Bhawan in New Delhi.
