Shillong: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) is set to conduct the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Supplementary Examinations from May 1 to May 8, 2025, across 76 examination centres throughout the state.
According to an official release issued by the Education Department on Wednesday, 7,085 students out of 8,918 eligible candidates have registered for the exams — representing a registration rate of 79.44%.
Of the total examinees, 2,235 students are from the Khasi Hills region, while 4,850 are from the Garo Hills region.
The state has allocated 49 centres in Khasi and Jaintia Hills and 27 centres in Garo Hills to accommodate students.
The Board aims to complete the result processing by the end of May, allowing successful candidates to seamlessly continue their education at the Higher Secondary level.

Wishing the examinees success, Vijay Kumar Mantri, Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Education Department, said the department remains committed to supporting students in their academic journey.
The SSLC Supplementary Examination provides a second opportunity for students who did not clear the regular board exams, ensuring they do not lose an academic year.
