Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Health Minister and BJP president J P Nadda in New Delhi on Friday.
During the meeting, the chief minister informed Union Minister J P Nadda about key issues concerning the development of healthcare infrastructure in Tripura.
He briefed the Union health minister about the development of super-specialty services in government-run hospitals in the state and also sought his cooperation on issues related to the health sector.
“I briefed the Union Health Minister on several aspects concerning healthcare development in Tripura and requested necessary assistance to further strengthen the state’s health sector,” Dr Saha.
Saha also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi. “Discussed key development initiatives of our state government and sought his valuable guidance and support from the Centre for further progress,” CM Saha posted on X.

Later, in the afternoon, the chief minister met senior BJP leader BL Santosh. He said, “Privileged to receive valuable guidance from Bharatiya Janata Party GS BL Santosh in New Delhi. His insights and expertise will empower and strengthen our organizational framework.”
