Hailing from the small town of Laban in Meghalaya’s Shillong, Ayush’s dream of serving the nation has been realized, thanks to the rigorous training and mentorship provided by 119 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Assam, Shillong.
Ayush’s journey stands as a testament to the unit’s commitment to nurturing young talent and instilling in them the core values of courage, leadership, and perseverance.
With the invaluable guidance of the battalion, he has now earned a coveted opportunity to join the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, for the SSC (Non-Tech)-121 Course as a Short Service Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army.
His transformation from a young aspirant to a proud and motivated soldier is an embodiment of the ethos of the Territorial Army, where raw potential is moulded into dedicated warriors.
