Agartala: An eight-member delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) visited Tripura’s Udaipur to inspect the progress of the ADB-assisted water supply treatment project, managed by the Urban Development department.
The delegation included representatives from the ADB’s Women’s Office and New Delhi Office.
The delegation inspected the water treatment and reservoir plants, which are financed by the ADB as part of a comprehensive urban infrastructure project.
“With the sanctioning of funds from ADB, we have taken various urban infrastructure projects, including water supply,” said an ADB official from Agartala.
“An eight-member delegation from the ADB’s Central Office visited Tripura to review various developmental projects, including the water treatment plant planned for Banduar,” the official stated.
“We conducted a thorough inspection of the site and are confident in meeting the project’s deadline. The delegation’s valuable advice is essential for the successful completion of this project, which will provide crucial water supply facilities for Udaipur residents,” he added.

The purpose of the inspection is to facilitate the timely and effective implementation of the project, which will contribute to improved urban infrastructure and water supply in the region.
