Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated the 35th ‘Tripura Industries and Commerce Fair 2025’ at the International Fair Ground at Hapania in Agartala.
“Industry-friendly initiatives of the present government are expanding Tripura’s industrial sector, with an increase in investments, production, and opportunities,” Chief Minister Manik Saha posted on X.

Saha said the fair aims to promote local businesses, startups, and innovation, with a focus on sectors like information technology, tourism, and hospitality.
Over 337 stalls have been set up, which will highlight the work of local entrepreneurs.
Besides, 114 stalls have been allocated to national-level exhibitors.
A major highlight of this year’s fair, which will run till February 12, is the ‘Destination Tripura Business Conclave’ scheduled for February 7 and 8.
This initiative aims to position Tripura as a premier investment destination in Northeast India.
The ‘Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2025’ has been planned to draw in investors and boost the state’s industrial development, with 150 investors from various sectors slated to attend.
With the theme “Destination Tripura: The Land of Opportunity”, the conclave will focus on sectors such as health, IT, food processing, education, tourism, rubber, bamboo, and agar.

The 35th Tripura Industrial and Trade Fair is anticipated to boost local entrepreneurship by encouraging the development of innovative products and improving marketing skills.
Last year’s 34th Industrial and Trade Fair generated business worth Rs 6.28 crore.
