Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu recently inaugurated key facilities at the Police Training Centre at Banderdewa to empower the police force with modern infrastructure.

Taking to X, CM Khandu said, “Happy to have inaugurated Sports Complex, 300 Men Barrack, and Volleyball Turf Court at Police Training Centre, Banderdewa.”

He said these facilities would further enhance the training environment and overall welfare of the police personnel, ensuring they are better equipped to serve the state.
Such initiatives reinforce our commitment to the welfare and preparedness of our law enforcement personnel, he stated.
The chief minister also witnessed the Dikshant Parade of the 49th Batch of Recruit Constables Basic Training Course at the Police Training Centre.
A total of 885 recruits, including 110 lady constables, successfully completed their rigorous 9-month training and are now ready to serve the people and the state with discipline, dedication, and pride.
“This is the largest passing out parade in the history of Arunachal Pradesh Police, marking a significant milestone for the force,” the chief minister said.

CM Khandu said, “The newly inducted constables are poised to serve as guardians of the law. They are entrusted with the responsibility of safeguarding every citizen with honesty and making meaningful contributions to the vision of a Viksit Arunachal Pradesh.”
