Oppo has finally announced the global launch of its much-awaited Find X8 Series. The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will launch in India on November 21.
The series features Hasselblad-tuned cameras and the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, offering a premium, camera-focused experience with a powerful processor.
The Dimensity 9400 chipset outperforms the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is likely to give the Find X8 series an edge in handling demanding tasks like gaming, photography, and AI-based applications smoothly.
Oppo Find X8 series was introduced in China on October 24. Indian variants of the handset will be similar to the Chinese version.
Alongside the Oppo Find X8 series, Oppo will also unveil the Android 15-based ColorOS 15 for the global market.
Another highlight of the Oppo Find X8 series is Oppo’s continued partnership with Hasselblad. Like its predecessors, both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will feature a camera system tuned by Hasselblad, referred to as the “Hasselblad Master Camera System.”
This partnership, according to the company, will provide users high-quality imaging with enhanced colour accuracy and detail.
The Find X8 series also uses an AI-powered Telescope Zoom feature, which may help users capture detailed images from a distance without compromising clarity. According to Oppo, this zoom capability, extending beyond 10x, is one of the most advanced zoom systems in an Oppo smartphone. Additionally, the “Lightning Snap” feature allows the Find X8 series to capture rapid successive shots at up to seven images per second, preserving both detail and processing quality.
The Pro model of the Find X8 series will also include a dual-periscope telephoto camera designed for zooming and long-distance photography. Oppo claims this sensor can capture clear, true-to-colour images with minimal distortion, even at high zoom levels.
The Oppo Find X8 will weigh 193 grams and measure 7.85 mm thick. On the front it features a 6.59-inch display with narrow bezels.
Meanwhile, the Pro variant offers a larger display—a 6.78-inch quad-curved screen with glass that curves on both sides.
The Find X8 will be available in two colour options: Star Grey and Space Black, while the Pro model will come in Space Black and Pearl White.
