Maroon 5, a popular American pop-rock band, will hold their first concert in India this December. The band is set to perform on December 3, 2024, at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse.

The Los Angeles-based rock band has given several all-time hit songs like Sugar, Animals, Girls Like You, Cold, Memories, among others.

The six-member rock band, Maroon 5, includes Adam Levine as its lead vocalist. Other members of the band are rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton and bassist Sam Farrar.

The group was formed in 1994 as Kara’s Flowers and parted ways in the next 4-5 years after receiving a tepid response from the audience. The band reunited in 2001 with the addition of guitarist James Valentine and also pursued a new name: Maroon 5.

The event’s tickets will be offered via BookMyShow, with general tickets going on sale on November 8 and a pre-sale for a limited group starting on November 6.

The band is known for its catchy blend of pop, rock, and R&B.

Maroon 5 has broken 32 records on the Billboard Hot 100 with over 98 million albums and 750 million singles sold worldwide. Three of their songs have been certified Diamond (10x Platinum) in the US.
