Itanagar: The highly-anticipated Arunachal Rang Mahotsav is set to captivate audiences once again from November 22. The vibrant theatre festival, to be held in the state capital Itanagar, has garnered significant attention since its inception last year.
This year’s edition promises an even more spectacular showcase, featuring international theatre groups from Poland, Switzerland, the United States, Nepal, and Taiwan.
In addition, a team representing Arunachal Pradesh will perform over 30 plays during the 12-day cultural extravaganza, highlighting the rich cultural tapestry of the state’s diverse tribes.
The festival will also feature a variety of folk and traditional art forms like Kalaripayattu, Gotipua, Thang Ta, Chhau and Theyyam.
Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi has been appointed as the brand ambassador of this festival. His presence is expected to add a star-studded touch to the festival.
Local actors have expressed immense excitement about participating in this cultural extravaganza.
