GUWAHATI: Adding yet another remarkable role to his versatile filmography, acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to play the notorious Assamese judge Upendra Nath Rajkhowa in his next film.

This has been confirmed by his brother Faizuddin Siddiqui, who is also producing the film.

The film aims to delve into the intricate psychological depth and complexities of Rajkhowa’s character.

He expressed immense fascination with the story and was eager to be involved in such a project. “I decided to produce the film under my banner, and who better to portray the Assamese judge Upendra Nath Rajkhowa than my brother Nawazuddin Siddiqui?” he said.

The actor has always proved his acting dexterity and versatility by essaying challenging roles in films such as Manjhi: The Mountain Man, Manto, and Thackeray.

With this film, Nawazuddin will continue to amaze audiences with his portrayal of another controversial historical figure.

Besides, the actor will be seen in films such as Oil Kumar, Adbhut, Noorani Chehra, and Sangeen.
