GUWAHATI: Pragjyotishpur University organised a felicitation ceremony recently to acknowledge students who successfully cleared their Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examination.
Meritorious students from various schools in the region were commended with letters of appreciation, recognising their outstanding achievements.
Held at Sarukshetri Senior Secondary School, Belbari, the ceremony brought together distinguished guests, educators, and meritorious students from Sarthebari and Tezpur.
The event, graced by esteemed guests, saw Somnath Talukdar, an eminent academician, as the Chief Guest.
Accompanying him were the Guests of Honour, Manoranjan Baruah, Principal of Sarukshetri Sr. Sec. School, and Harmohan Barman, a distinguished journalist.
In their addresses, Talukdar highlighted the importance of education focused on skills, while Baruah encouraged students to strive for academic growth, keeping society at the core of their effort.
Barman urged students to stay informed about the latest policies and trends shaping India’s educational landscape.
